Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
The short version: Right now, the only thing we collect is the email address you choose to give us, and we use it only to tell you about Heard Through. We don't sell your data, and you can leave the list anytime.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you submit it to join our early-access list.
- Basic, anonymous site analytics (such as page views), which may be collected by our hosting provider to help us understand traffic. This does not identify you personally.
If you create a creator account
Heard Through now offers accounts so creators can build a map. If you create one, we also store your login email, your public profile (your handle, display name, and bio), and the places you add to your map (such as a name, location, your note, and an optional link). Your profile and map are public by design, since the whole point is a link you can share, so only add what you're happy for others to see. We never post anything as you without you.
How we use it
- To email you about Heard Through, mainly our launch and occasional updates.
- To improve the site and our product.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use trusted third-party services to run this site and send email (for example, our hosting and email providers). They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide those services.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us.
- You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@heardthrough.com.
Cookies
This site uses only the minimal storage needed to remember small preferences, such as light or dark mode. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Changes
As Heard Through grows, we'll keep this policy current and update the date above whenever it changes.
